Before Your Appointment
Your Body
Please shower before coming to your tattoo appointment!
If you can shave the area you will get tattooed in that would be amazing!
(If you forgot, don’t worry we can do it for you too!)
If you can lotion the area you will be getting tattooed in everyday for 1 week that would be amazing! Soft skin really helps!
Make sure you get a solid full night’s rest! It doesn’t help the artist when you’re falling asleep on the bed and jolting a lot.
What to bring
Please feel free to bring water or your favorite snacks.
(We will also have some for you if you forgot)
We recommend bringing:
– An extra pillow or stuffie to hug
– A blanket if you get cold easily
– A hair tie
– Headphones
– an Ipad or laptop to watch something for long sessions
– A book if you can hold one to read
– your Nintendo switch
what to wear
Don’t wear anything expensive or white unless you don’t mind some possible ink getting onto it!
Think of the placement of your tattoo and what articles of clothing you have best suited for the area
Back: Tie string bikini or a zip up hoodie you can reverse your arms into to stay warm
Ribs/Hips: Tie string bikini, pasties
Legs: Shorts
Neck, upper back: Hair Tie
Please dont wear tight clothing that will affect the area, IE: dont wear boots if you are getting a foot tattoo.
Alcohol & Drugs
Alcohol:
We highly recommend no excessive amounts of alcohol 48 hours prior to your tattoo appointment. One glass of wine/beer is okay!
After your tattoo, we also do not recommend excess amounts of alcohol, one or two glasses of wine/beer is fine!
Weed:
Some people find it helps soothe their anxieties, some people find they have more anxiety and they feel the pain a lot more. If you are unsure which type you are, we ask you dont test it out for your tattoo appointment.
However, we DO recommend injesting CBD oil to soothe your anxieties – this will not cause any issues.
Payment
Please check in with your artist what type of payment they prefer!
Usually they prefer cash but we also take credit cards:
