Hi ☺ I’m Amy, also known as @gingiepop! Gingie Pop is named after my family dog, Ginger Popcorn, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2018 — he was truly the love of my life. Outside of tattooing, I love dance and fitness classes, longboarding along the seawall, and deep conversations with friends. I'm an Aquarius sun, Capricorn moon, Gemini rising, and an ESFP — I love asking my clients about their zodiac signs and MBTI types to get to know them better, as to be loved is to be seen.

I used to be a graphic designer, but staring at a screen all day wasn’t for me. I was miserable. After my therapist encouraged me to write down new career ideas, tattoo artist made the list. Not long after, my best friend helped a stranger buy cat food and he turned out to be a tattoo artist. He showed me around his private studio, gave me some tips and supplies, and from there, everything just flowed. I knew I had found what I was meant to do.

Tattooing has given my life so much purpose. I wake up every day excited to learn and grow. I can’t wait to greet you with a warm smile, bring your tattoo dreams to life, and hear the words, "It’s exactly what I wanted — even better than I imagined!" Those moments are what make this career so special to me. ♡
