Sprinks

Hey there! I’m Sprinks - short for Sprinkles - and I’ve been tattooing full-time for over 13 years. Originally from New Zealand, I’m of Māori and Cook Island descent. After two decades in Sydney, Australia, I’ve made my home in Vancouver, Canada.

I specialize in black and grey work, drawing inspiration from flora, fauna, the female form, geometry, and surrealism. My style is a mix of illustrative detail and realism, using bold contrasts, varying line weights, and intricate dot shading. I also enjoy stripping things back to bold lines, solid black, and the occasional splash of color. Got a different idea? Before tattooing, I painted large-scale murals, performed live art, exhibited in group shows, and hosted creative workshops. My creative path has taken me everywhere - from customizing furniture and working in film and TV, to racing as a sponsored drifter and performing as a pro hip-hop and breakdancer for 11 years.
